Charles Tan

Principal and Singapore Managing Director

Charles leads our Singapore office, and specialises in strategy and operational improvement. He is very passionate about people development, and was responsible for building up and training the in-house strategy team for Telstra Enterprise. Prior to Telstra, Charles was a senior manager at A.T. Kearney, and conducted various engagements in commercial due diligence, business strategy development, operational improvement and strategic sourcing. He has over 20 years of working experience across South East Asia and Australia in industries such as financial services, telecommunications, tertiary education, agriculture, private equity and utilities.

  • Functioned as the Tribe Agile Coach for a large Thai bank undergoing an Agile Transformation
  • Functioned as the senior coach for major global investment company
  • Supported coaching numerous project and business teams to increase efficiency and effectiveness of global support functions at a large global mining company
  • Led the onboarding of multiple squads in Agile ways of working for a major bank in Malaysia
  • Supported many senior leaders on their Agile Leadership journey through workshops, training and 1:1 coaching in Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines
  • Helped to course-correct Agile implementations that have gone awry at a global airline and a regional energy company
